International Service Engineer Opportunity

Location: Gloucester, UK

A leading manufacturing business in Gloucester is seeking an experienced International Service Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the international service team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining equipment at client sites worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Install and commission equipment at client sites, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  2. Conduct thorough testing and assembly of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Provide training to client staff at various levels, both at the client's and customer's premises.
  4. Write detailed reports and recommendations following all visits, highlighting areas for improvement.
  5. Liaise with Sales, Production, and Design teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  6. Travel extensively worldwide, including weekends, to support client needs.
  7. Ensure accurate completion of machine documentation and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  8. Participate in improvement projects as required, contributing to the company's growth and success.
Requirements
  1. Completed a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship.
  2. ONC or HNC in Engineering would be advantageous.
  3. Mechanical assembly and fault diagnosis skills, with a proven track record.
  4. Able to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings.
  5. Basic understanding of electrical control circuits and PLC machine controls.
  6. Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally, with flexibility in working hours and travel.
  7. Compliance with latest vaccinations, inoculations, and blood tests for foreign travel.
