AEGIS London's Cyber Security Program: Key Roles and Responsibilities

AEGIS London is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to play a pivotal role in our cyber security program. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud security, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, as well as proven experience in running and implementing cloud security.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with third-party organizations to ensure proactive monitoring of networks, systems, and applications for security breaches, intrusions, and suspicious activity.
  2. Investigate security alerts and incidents, working closely with the IT team to contain and remediate them, and providing support to the Cyber Security Manager throughout the incident closure process.
  3. Own the outputs from vulnerability management and penetration testing, working with system owners to resolve issues and escalating non-compliance to the Cyber Security Manager.
  4. Work with third-party organizations to ensure secure coding requirements are met in line with the cyber security framework.
  5. Support the Cyber Security Manager in responding to cyber security incidents, ensuring lessons are learned and fed back into the security framework.
  6. Act as the primary point of contact for the IT team and business regarding cyber security incidents.
  7. Contribute to the development, implementation, and enforcement of information security policies, standards, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  8. Conduct risk assessments to evaluate the security posture of information systems and processes, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  9. Work with third-party organizations to ensure the implementation of the right security tools, overseeing their use to ensure alignment with the cyber security framework.
  10. Produce security posture reports, vulnerability reports, and incident reports for the Cyber Security Manager to communicate to relevant stakeholders.
  11. Communicate security risks, issues, and strategies to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
  12. Work with third-party organizations to ensure AEGIS London is monitoring for relevant cyber security threats and proactively protected against them.
