Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Gray Healthcare. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with autism and learning disabilities who requires 2:1 support 24 hours a day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to the individual, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management.
  • Support the individual in accessing community resources and engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental health.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement a person-centred support plan.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience in social care, preferably in mental health and with supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current DBS check and satisfactory references.
