Job Title: Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine to join our team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. As a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the development of intensive care services within the Trust.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality patient care and leading the development of intensive care services
  • Collaborating with consultant colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participating in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff to ensure their professional development
  • Contributing to the development of clinical policies and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Full registration with the GMC with licence to practice
  • FFICM or equivalent
  • CCT (or equivalent) with entry on Specialist Register for ICM or within six months of anticipated CCT date
  • MSc/Diploma/PG certification in Perioperative medicine or equivalent
