At Gatwick Airport, we are seeking an exceptional Construction Programme Manager to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of complex projects, from facilities expansion to next-generation security.

As a Construction Programme Manager, you will be responsible for schedule development, monitoring, and recovery plans. You will engage with key stakeholders, including contractors and project managers, engineers, and subcontractors, regarding the status of projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing robust delivery schedules with clear targets and understanding of all activities and interfaces that support the successful completion of the projects.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including contractors and project managers, engineers, and subcontractors regarding the status of projects.
  • Offering technical advice and support to team members about best practices and utilisation of the schedule to support the project objectives.
  • Performing schedule monitoring, including identifying critical activities and involvement in risk management and mitigation measures.

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience as a Senior Planner on projects with a value typically over £20m. Possession of a relevant qualification or recent demonstrable analytical experience in a STEM/construction-related industry is essential.

Experience in managing complex projects with Primavera software (P6), MS Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools is essential. Experience of working in a live environment is desirable, although airport experience is not essential.
