About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatrician to join our team at NHS Professionals Limited.

The successful candidate will provide medical leadership and professional accountability for patients under their care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective team working in the provision of acute care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Providing medical leadership and professional accountability for patients under their care
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective team working in the provision of acute care to patients
  • Developing and delivering excellent care to our local population
  • Building on existing good relationships with primary and community care services to support frail, older people

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Primary medical qualification recognised in the General Medical Council
  • Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP)
  • Relevant certificate of completion of training (CCT) or Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) or entry on specialist registration within 6 months or applied for entry
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council
