Job Role

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of nutritionally balanced and tasty food to our students. Your role will involve assisting with meal planning, preparation, and cooking, as well as maintaining high food safety and health and safety standards.

You will work closely with our kitchen teams to brief them on menus and service, ensuring that our food quality, presentation, and service meet the required standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for carrying out company bookwork and ensuring that all food safety and health and safety procedures are applied continuously.

Caterlink is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and we expect all employees to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role.

Working hours are from 7am until 2.45pm (15 minutes unpaid break) Monday to Friday, term time only.
