About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Social Work Team Manager to lead our Safeguarding and Care Planning Teams in Bromley. As a key member of our Children's Social Care team, you will be responsible for managing a team of social workers and ensuring high-quality and effective social work practice to safeguard children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of social workers in the Safeguarding and Care Planning Teams
  • Ensure high-quality and effective social work practice to safeguard children and young people
  • Provide reflective supervision and professional support to team members
  • Manage caseloads to ensure timely and effective interventions
  • Collaborate with multi-agency partners to support children and families
  • Monitor and review case progress and outcomes, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of team members
  • Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives
