About the Role

The Economist Group is a leading source of analysis on international business and world affairs, delivering information through various formats. We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator to support our B2C Salesforce instance, which serves over 1.2 million subscribers. This role will involve platform administration, user management, ticket management, case triage, and application & end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for user access and accessibility requests on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as setting up users, assigning permission sets, profiles, and installed package licenses.
  • Build reports & dashboards to support business needs.
  • Work closely with the business to manage license requests and assignments.
  • Update user access and accessibility tickets in Jira.
  • Perform small and basic Salesforce enhancements, such as creating new fields, updating picklist values, and page layouts.
  • Support & coach junior colleagues with Salesforce requests and troubleshooting.
  • Escalate license issues to senior team members as necessary.
  • Attend daily stand-up meetings and team meetings.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Salesforce User Management.
  • Salesforce Administration Certification is essential, and Sales Cloud & Platform App Builder are desired.
  • Salesforce Trailhead badges.
  • A proven track record of teamwork with non-technical client staff and colleagues.
  • Stellar communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize tickets to meet defined SLAs.
  • Work management tooling, such as Jira, is preferable but not required.
  • Energetic approach to work and a desire to learn.
