About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced lawyer with significant expertise in corporate investigations and compliance programs to join our Legal Department at Amazon.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of monitoring, supervising, and conducting internal investigations involving potential legal and regulatory issues, including fraud allegations. The role may require occasional travel.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in law, including 3+ years in investigations or compliance roles with corporations, law firms, or government agencies
- Qualification as a lawyer with bar membership in good standing
- Expertise in anti-corruption and bribery, including counseling and defense
- Crisis management and response experience
- Excellent English skills, including document drafting and interviewing
Favorable Qualifications:
- Fluency in languages other than English
- High standards of ethics and discretion
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with excellent collaboration abilities
- Sound business judgment and common sense
Compensation Package:
We offer a highly competitive salary for this position, estimated to be around $145,000-$170,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This compensation package also includes a range of benefits and perks that make working at Amazon an attractive opportunity.
