Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Duty & Assessment Team in Northamptonshire. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of up to £44,911 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a complex caseload of high-risk, high-need looked-after children, ensuring effective case management and risk assessment.
  • Lead family network meetings and case mappings, conducting in-depth assessments of social need and managing risk to children.
  • Support the Team Manager in supervising and appraising team members, ensuring adherence to council policies and procedures.
  • Seek professional advice and second opinions on legal issues, interventions, and plans impacting children and families.
  • Develop and implement child-centered plans within review timelines, managing and reducing identified risks and meeting the needs of the child.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and records, contributing to the planning and reviewing of cases for children in care.
  • Provide practice education to social work students, support onboarding and induction, and offer mentoring and work-shadowing opportunities.

Requirements: The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of child protection and social work principles is essential.
