Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Work Practitioner to join their Social Work Academy Team. The successful candidate will work full-time, based in Northamptonshire, and will be responsible for supervising and managing the workload of newly qualified social workers.

The salary for this permanent position is up to £44,911 per annum.

  • Under the direction of the team manager, the Senior Social Work Practitioner will supervise and manage the workload of newly qualified social workers, providing mentoring, reflective supervision, monitoring of case progression, professional development, and professional supervision.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to the learning and development of the Academy/NCC as a training organisation by managing the interface between Higher Education Institute and training/workplace situations.
  • The Senior Social Work Practitioner will provide the Team Manager with accurate information and assist in establishing, maintaining, and utilising information systems to ensure best practice as part of a robust quality assurance system.
  • The successful candidate will deliver professional leadership and education for social workers associated with the Academy to provide effective and professional service delivery at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • The Senior Social Work Practitioner will ensure that reasonable care is taken at all times for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and other persons, and comply with the policies and procedures relating to health and safety within the department.

Requirements of this Senior Social Work Practitioner Job:

  • Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
  • Current Social Work England Registration.
  • Experience within Children's Services.
