FM Consultant - Facilities Management Services

At Turner & Townsend, we're passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. As an FM Consultant, you'll play a key role in helping our clients optimize their facilities management services.

Our FM team provides a unique management consultancy capability to our partners, helping them to align their FM strategy with their business goals. We offer a range of services, including strategic and operational reviews, FM procurement and service definition, performance measurement, and FM audits and health checks.

We're seeking individuals with a keen interest and experience in Facilities Management procurement, benchmarking, contract and performance management. Additional experience in building construction, FM operations, operational readiness and service mobilisation would be beneficial.

The role can be based in any of our UK-based offices, but the individual must be flexible in terms of working location, with occasional overnight stays required. You'll work across the UK and beyond, supporting senior team members in the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities and Behaviours:

  • A cooperative team member supporting senior team members in the successful delivery of projects.
  • Capable of independently completing tasks and activities, taking responsibility for your own time management and ability to work towards overall project timescales and tight deadlines.
  • Expected to support senior team members in business generation activities, such as bid writing and developing marketing material.
  • Capable of building strong, professional client relationships and identifying and resolving client issues.
  • Able to analyse information quickly and efficiently, choose or recommend from a range of options and make decisions where the parameters are unclear and judgement needs to be exercised.

Education, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ideally degree qualified or equivalent qualification in a related subject or appropriate industry experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an operational role or 1 year's experience in a consultancy role.
  • Proficient and experienced in using MS Office software, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.
