About the Role

Southampton Hospitals Charity is seeking an experienced Strategic Finance Leader to join its Board of Trustees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the charity's objectives and vision.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on financial management, risk, and governance.
  • Work closely with the Chief Executive and senior leadership team to ensure effective decision-making and resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Senior financial leadership experience in a multi-sector environment.
  • Strong understanding of board-level financial strategy and risk management.
  • Able to take a strategic approach in contributing towards the creation and direction of the charity's objectives and business plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote the charity's work to internal and external audiences.
  • Clear and visible personal integrity and a deep commitment to the objectives of Southampton Hospitals Charity.
Benefits

This role is offered on a voluntary basis, with reasonable expenses incurred during the role reimbursed by the charity.

The estimated salary range for this position is between £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
