About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional PSHE Teacher to join our team at Horizon Care & Education. As a PSHE Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging PSHE lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with challenging behavior
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Stay up-to-date with Ofsted requirements and best practices in SEN and SEMH education
Requirements
  • QTS Qualification
  • Experience of teaching PSHE at secondary level
  • Proven teaching and learning experience in a relevant context
  • Strong understanding of child safeguarding
