About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional PSHE Teacher to join our team at Horizon Care & Education. As a PSHE Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging PSHE lessons to students with SEN and SEMH difficulties
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote student well-being and academic achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of PSHE curriculum and resources
  • Support students with challenging behavior and SEMH difficulties

Requirements

  • QTS Qualification
  • Experience of teaching PSHE at secondary level
  • Proven teaching and learning experience in a relevant context
  • Strong understanding of child safeguarding
  • Ability to plan and execute interesting and engaging lessons for a range of students
