About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated PSHE Teacher to join our team at Horizon Care & Education. As a PSHE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective PSHE lessons to students with SEN and SEMH difficulties
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to meet the needs of students
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and external agencies to ensure students receive a comprehensive education
  • Monitor and assess student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure students receive the support they need
Requirements
  • QTS Qualification
  • Experience of teaching PSHE at secondary level
  • Proven teaching and learning experience in a relevant context
  • A strong understanding of child safeguarding
  • Ability to plan and execute interesting and engaging lessons for a range of students
