Senior Data Scientist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Data Science Talent. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of advanced data analytics solutions to support the F1 team's performance improvement goals.

About the Job:

You will work closely with the Data Science Team Leader and other senior engineers to develop and implement cutting-edge data analytics solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing data pipelines to support real-time data processing and analytics
  • Developing and deploying machine learning models to predict and optimise performance
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics solutions into the F1 team's workflow

Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year

Requirements:

  • PhD or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Physics, Computer Science, Engineering)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering results
  • Expertise in Python programming, including its data science and machine learning libraries
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft Azure Services
  • Experience working with modern software development practices and source control
