About the Role:
Donard Recruitment is seeking a skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team in a hybrid working environment. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a crucial role in providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while ensuring a personalized, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for the service user.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR) for claimants with a range of health conditions and disabilities.
- Manage caseloads from end to end, including assessing physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
- Have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings.
Requirements:
- Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic.
- 1+ years post-qualification experience.
- Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
- Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.
What We Offer:
- Basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500 per annum.
- 5% retention bonus, rising to 10% quality and retention bonus.
- OTE: £45,650 per annum.
- Hybrid full-time and part-time working hours available.
- Training options: 12 weeks (full-time), 14 weeks (4 days per week), and 17 weeks (3 days per week).
- 25 days' holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service.
