The Technical Project Lead is a pivotal role at Barclays Bank Plc, responsible for overseeing the delivery of large-scale technical projects and capabilities across the bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial part in collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations throughout the software product lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will lead the delivery of complex technical project capabilities using Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring timely completion and meeting stakeholder expectations.
  • You will collaborate with customers and business teams to develop customer trails, ensuring that technically feasible solutions are proposed and implemented.
  • You will work closely with software engineers, quality teams, product managers, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality products and features, adhering to agreed time, budget, and quality requirements.
  • You will identify and assess risks associated with technical projects, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • You will effectively manage change requests and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining transparency and open communication.
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with vendors involved in technical projects, ensuring they deliver according to agreed terms.

Estimated Salary:

£110,000 - £140,000 per annum, depending on experience.
