Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our 24-hour Hyper Acute Sickle Cell Unit (HASCU) at University Hospital Lewisham NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, while also contributing to the development of our haematology services.

As a trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based expert clinical care, working towards a high degree of professional autonomy.
  • Promote the improvement of quality and clinical effectiveness within resource constraints.
  • Work across professional, organisational, and system boundaries to proactively develop and sustain new partnerships and networks.
  • Participate in teaching programmes relevant to Haematology and Oncology patients.
Requirements
  • NMC registered Nurse / Other allied health care professional (HCPC) MSc in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
  • Portfolio of practice evidencing level of practice.
  • Experience of leadership within a service, teaching patients and staff, and leading projects at an organization level.
