Child Protection Specialist

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to join Staffordshire County Council as a Child Protection Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable children and knowledge of safeguarding practices.
In this role, you will work within the framework of legislation and agreed council policies to improve the well-being of children and promote their independence.
You will be responsible for supporting children and young people subject to Child Protection Plans, including those within the PLO and court arena.
About You:- A social work degree and registration with Social Work England are essential.
- You must have knowledge of legislation and guidance underpinning delivery of children's social care.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
- You should have skills in assessing and formulating plans for children and young people.
