Permanent Futures is seeking a highly skilled Environment, Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Wakefield. As a key member of our FMCG Manufacturing business, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and stakeholders.
About the RoleAs Environment, Health and Safety Manager, you will work closely with our Group Health and Safety Manager to design and implement new continuous improvement strategies and improvement programmes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing managers and employees with information on legislative and corporate compliance, advising on ways of meeting statutory requirements and Corporate HS&E Policies, HSE guidance and codes of practice.
- To ensure that risk assessments/safe systems of work requirements are met.
- Conducting regular safety audits, behavioural observations, and quarterly safety inspections.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working within a Manufacturing environment.
- Previous track record in Health and Safety management.
- NEBOSH Diploma qualified or in progress.
- Experience in HSE management process.
