  • Support de-escalation and 'step down' from the 24/7 Lincolnshire mental health helpline and embed pathways to support escalation up for support.
  • Identify and establish linkages with key community leaders and individuals, to identify solutions, build skills, community activities and facilitate new connections.
  • Build on the increased levels of social action and the willingness for people to support their communities.
  • Ensure support reaches out to vulnerable, deprived and isolated members of society and identify ways to enhance access and reduce barriers.
  • Building on existing assets and identify new alternative solutions to 'crisis' provision that would be deemed appropriate for low level support, enabling people to access a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment, promoting independence, opportunity and recovery for all.
  • Help to facilitate grass roots problem solving and take an asset-based approach to building and connecting communities together to become stronger and resilient.
  • Reconnect people with their communities, understanding not only what communities provide but how to make the best use of community assets.
  • Listen to the local community, uncover what is important and what will lead to the greatest impact for a community and local services.
  • Deliver engaging and supportive activities in line with the NHS Five Steps to Wellbeing, providing people the support they need and ensures we foster strong long-term relationships with other local support provision to deliver on target and to wider strategic objectives.
  • Refer customers into wider CLIP service offers and those of local support partners to provide a truly holistic and personalised package of support that meets customer needs.
  • Support the involvement of people with lived experience of mental health and our support partners in the design, delivery and monitoring of support and activities.
  • Proactively engaging and representing CLIP through attendance at networks, conferences and events.
  • Build community provision for people with mental health issues, creating positive partnerships, mapping assets and identifying gaps in provision.
  • With the support from the Wellbeing Delivery Coordinator, deliver and grow our support offer and activities within our Wellbeing Hub and across our identified satellite centres including Market Rasen.
  • Provide support and activities for people to achieve better mental health and wellbeing, increasing independence and reducing reliance on statutory services.
  • Build on existing community assets, making the best use of existing resources, and identify new alternative solutions to 'crisis' provision that would be deemed appropriate for low level support.
  • Support the building of multi-agency teams of people working or living in specific areas from across the public, private, voluntary and community sectors and faith groups.
  • There will be some teaching hours expected from this role.

Requirements

  • A willingness and ability to deliver a range of courses beyond your primary area of expertise with an enthusiasm to develop your skills to adapt our delivery to the needs of our learners.
  • Outcome star training undertaken.
  • Qualification in Mentoring, Advice and Guidance or similar, or a mental health qualification.
  • Are comfortable with, and can deliver, both 1-2-1 and group sessions in their role.
  • L3 Award in Education and Training (formerly PTLLS) or Teaching qualification, and/or willingness to undergo further training.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, whether in the same team or external support providers.
  • You're a positive, energised and enthusiastic person, with a real zest for helping others.
  • Engaging and supporting people is what gets you up every day.
  • Nothing makes you happier than seeing someone progress, knowing you helped them get there.
