Digital Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Executive to join our team at Highfield and Brookham School. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for driving our digital marketing strategy and implementing campaigns to raise the profile of our school nationally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to achieve our marketing and admissions strategy goals, including SEO, online partnerships, and paid advertising.
- Manage our website development, ensuring regular updates to optimize keyword search, on-page optimization, link building, and user experience.
- Design and implement digital paid advertising strategies, including Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram ads.
- Analyze and report on marketing metrics using Google Analytics, providing insights on website traffic and campaign activity.
- Develop and manage social media content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn, ensuring a consistent supply of relevant information to engage our target audiences.
- Implement social media strategies to increase engagement and promote advocacy among our target audiences.
- Monitor competitor social activity and websites, conducting research and competitor analysis to ensure our activities are differentiated.
- Assist with staffing key marketing events throughout the year.
- Work to protect our school's brand and visual identity through design, photography, and videography.
- Support the Head of External Activities to increase registrations to holiday clubs and swim school.
- Collaborate with the Admissions Registrar to understand prospective parents' needs and inform our digital marketing strategy.
- Degree in marketing or 2 years' experience in digital marketing.
- Proven expertise in all aspects of digital marketing.
- Strong writing and editorial skills, including creative, SEO, media, and business writing.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and work simultaneously with different messages and target markets.
- Design know-how and knowledge of InDesign or Photoshop.
- Willingness and flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.
- Experience with WordPress CMS.
This is a one-year fixed-term contract from January to December 2025. We offer hybrid working, part-time hours, and flexibility in school holidays for the right candidate.
