About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our team at Pullman Fleet. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the maintenance of our fleet of commercial vehicles, ensuring that all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that our fleet is properly maintained and that any issues are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Collaborate with our customers to understand their maintenance needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Manage and control inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary parts and materials to maintain our fleet.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize our maintenance operations.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with our safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fleet maintenance management, preferably in the commercial vehicle industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of technicians.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel to other sites within the UK as needed.
