GK Search Limited is seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the Operations and Maintenance services for our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Maintenance Operations: Oversee the O&M services for BESS projects, ensuring high standards through regular Preventive Maintenance (PM) checks, capacity tests, and reactive maintenance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Development and Construction, to ensure optimal operation and maintenance of BESS assets.
- Health & Safety Excellence: Foster a culture of health, safety, and environmental excellence within your team and across the company.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Lead efforts in troubleshooting operational issues, working with O&M teams and technical partners to resolve challenges efficiently.
- Reporting & Optimization: Compile monthly reports on system availability, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their representatives, ensuring satisfaction and promoting future growth opportunities.
- Experience: 8+ years in Asset Management, Operational leadership, or a related field within energy networks, renewables, or similar industries.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of energy management practices, renewable technologies, and engineering principles. Previous experience in electrical contracting or construction environments is desirable.
- Health & Safety: Proficient in H&S regulations, with qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH.
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to identify critical issues and provide clarity in team efforts, with a focus on achieving commercial objectives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
