Job Opportunity: Mental Health Support Worker

Gray Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Lincoln. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with a diagnosis of EUPD and Sensory Processing Disorder, who is living independently in their own home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to the individual, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household management.
  • Encourage the individual to engage in activities they enjoy, such as dancing and swimming.
  • Support the individual in developing their skills and interests, including volunteering at a cat cafe.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure the individual's needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Experience in social care, ideally in mental health and with supporting individuals with EUPD.
  • Ability to provide encouragement and support to individuals with complex health needs and learning disabilities.
  • Experience in implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments.
  • Current Right to Work in the UK and at least 6 months of employment in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
