Join Our Team as a Process Safety Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Engineer to support our operations in achieving safety excellence, continuous improvement, and promoting a strong safety culture.

About the Role

As a Process Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and supporting process safety systems and services across our business. You will work closely with operational managers, health and safety professionals, and external parties to ensure effective process safety, systems, and compliance are in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support process safety systems and services
  • Provide expert advice on hazard identification, hazard operability, layers of protection analysis, and safety integrity level
  • Support the safe operation of our Trowbridge Water Recycling Centre
  • Conduct site incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting
  • Recommend remedial actions and facilitate training workshops
  • Undertake regular audits and inspections
Requirements
  • Strong analytical thinking and planning skills
  • Experience in a Process Safety Engineer role in a high-hazard industry
  • DSEAR, Process Safety, HAZOP, and HAZID experience in an operational environment
  • Health and safety and environmental regulations and best practice procedures
  • Engineering principles and mechanical tools, equipment, and systems
