Job Title: Specialist Practitioner Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Practitioner Physiotherapist to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a key member of our spinal service, you will be responsible for providing advanced assessment, treatment, and management of patients with complex spinal conditions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Undertake advanced assessment and treatment of patients with spinal conditions, including lumbar spine pathology.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including neurosurgery and pain management, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including advanced physiotherapy techniques and injection therapy.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on spinal health and management.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols for spinal care.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • HCPC registration and current IRMER competency.
  • Proven experience in advanced physiotherapy practice, including spinal conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
