About the Role

We are partnering with a well-established business to find a credible and experienced HR Generalist for a brand new critical role. As an HR Generalist, you will work closely with Senior Managers to advise, support, and lead on all HR matters, including recruitment, employee relations, performance, engagement, policy, and process, training, and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Leadership: Lead the recruitment of all roles in the business, ensuring a robust and efficient process.
  • Relationship Building: Build relationships with internal and external partners to drive business growth and success.
  • Employee Relations: Provide day-to-day advice to line managers on all employee relations matters, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
  • Disciplinary and Grievance: Coordinate responses to disciplinary and grievance matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Employee Engagement: Review and develop innovative employee engagement activities to drive employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Performance Management: Manage the appraisal process, ensuring accurate and timely performance evaluations.
  • Training and Development: Source and organize training utilizing the apprenticeship levy, ensuring employees have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • HR Metrics: Ensure all key HR metrics are updated, providing insights into employee engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Culture Development: Work alongside the Senior Leadership Team to build a performance-driven culture, aligning with business objectives.
  • HR Projects: Support on wider HR projects, ensuring successful implementation and delivery.
About You
  • Generalist Experience: A generalist candidate with at least 3 years of experience as an advisor, with a proven background in HR providing advice and support.
  • Employee Relations: Experience managing employee relations caseload, with a strong understanding of employment law.
  • HR Knowledge: Good employment law knowledge, ideally CIPD level 5 or above, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Skills and Qualities: Excellent energy, confidence, and drive to deliver, with professional and excellent working relationships.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in IT systems and Microsoft packages, with the ability to analyze data and provide insights.
