Job Description:
- Deliver high-quality Drama lessons to students in Primary and Secondary education levels
- Develop a well-rounded performing arts curriculum, collaborating with other staff members
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Organize and direct school performances, showcasing students' talents and achievements
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting equality and diversity
- Liaise with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on students' progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching Drama in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of drama pedagogy and contemporary performance practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for drama education and its empowering effect on students
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and differentiate instruction to meet individual needs
