Job Description:

  1. Deliver high-quality Drama lessons to students in Primary and Secondary education levels
  2. Develop a well-rounded performing arts curriculum, collaborating with other staff members
  3. Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  4. Organize and direct school performances, showcasing students' talents and achievements
  5. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting equality and diversity
  6. Liaise with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on students' progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching Drama in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of drama pedagogy and contemporary performance practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for drama education and its empowering effect on students
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and differentiate instruction to meet individual needs
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
