We are seeking a dedicated Performing Arts Instructor to join our team at The Wayman Group in Harrow. This exceptional individual will play a vital role in shaping students' creative potential through engaging Drama lessons and fostering a love for the performing arts.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for the selected candidate to make a meaningful contribution to the school community and help shape the next generation of performers.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality Drama lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
- Implement effective teaching strategies to enhance students' dramatic skills and knowledge.
- Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Create a supportive learning environment that encourages students to take risks and explore their creativity.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and assessments to ensure compliance with school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and participate in school events and productions.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to provide regular updates on students' progress.
- Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching certification.
- Proven experience as a Drama Teacher, preferably in primary or secondary education.
- Strong knowledge of drama techniques, styles, and theories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs.
Salary: MPS / UPS (£30,000 - £55,000 per annum).
