Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at Bupa Care Services. As a Financial Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process financial transactions, including invoicing, cash allocation, and banking, using bespoke software.
  • Liaise with Local and Health Authorities to ensure timely and accurate payment receipt.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation, including Terms and Conditions, for all admissions.
  • Safeguard monies on behalf of residents and reconcile transactions to bank statements.
  • Manage purchasing and supplier payments, petty cash transactions, and replenishment.
  • Process employee-related information and payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide administrative support to the Home Manager, including letter writing, memos, and local management reporting.
  • Maintain a well-organized filing system and manage personnel files.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Financial Administrator, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
  • A friendly and approachable manner, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and internal/external teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to handle a varied workload.
  • A caring attitude and commitment to making a positive impact on people's lives.
