Fleet Operations Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Operations Specialist to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet, including maintenance, repairs, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage fleet maintenance and repairs, ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective logistics and transportation strategies to optimize fleet performance and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of fleet operations.
  • Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to drivers and other team members on fleet-related matters.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fleet operations, transportation, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HGV maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and other relevant software.
