Job Title: Consultant in Neuro Rehabilitation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Neuro Rehabilitation to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Neurosciences department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our neuro-rehabilitation services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide out-patient and ward referral services to the Trust, as well as in-patient support to the neuro-rehabilitation ward.
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans for patients with neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines for neuro-rehabilitation services.
Requirements:
  • Full GMC Registration and CCST Specialist Registration in Rehabilitation Medicine or equivalent.
  • Higher Degree (MD / PhD or equivalent) and experience in delivering a Spasticity service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
  • Ability to travel effectively between sites and adhere to the Trust Vision, Mission and Values.
