Senior Management Accountant

Chancellors Estate Agents is seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our Head Office team in Bracknell. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for producing and reviewing monthly management accounts, preparing financial analysis reports, and managing a team of management accountants.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce and review monthly management accounts for our subsidiary company, Life Financial Services Ltd.
- Prepare financial analysis reports for senior management, highlighting key issues and trends.
- Manage a team of management accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial tasks.
- Answer queries from Regional Directors and branch managers regarding their monthly accounts.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and liaise with non-finance departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Review and prepare commission statements for employees on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Assist with company and client monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end financial reports and schedules for auditors.
- Review statutory accounts received from auditors and raise corrections as required.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
- Ensure compliance with the company's Anti Money Laundering Policy and Propertymark client money rules.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget.
- 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA fully qualified.
- Strong experience in driving accounting process improvements.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in advising directors on key issues in the accounts and internal procedures.
