We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Sepsis Management and Education Lead at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust.
About the Trust:The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest radiotherapy departments in the world, providing chemotherapy, highly specialist surgery, and a wide range of support and diagnostic services. We run one of the largest early clinical trial units in Europe, conducting over 300 trials every year.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and presenting the training agenda for sepsis.
- Conducting regular clinical study days and direct clinical support to improve sepsis outcomes.
- Working closely with our infection control team and patient safety teams to ensure that our sepsis care is aligned with best practice guidelines and national targets.
- Developing and implementing protocols and policies in liaison with clinical leads for sepsis.
You will work autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary team, using your exceptional communication skills to maintain high-quality service delivery within a complex environment. To succeed in this role, you will need a high level of experience in oncology and acute care nursing, sound clinical knowledge, and a passion for ensuring best practice is adhered to.
Salary: £43,041 - £57,189 per annum (dependent on experience). This salary range is based on information from reputable sources such as the NHS pay scales and job advertisements.
