We are seeking a dedicated Vocational Training Specialist to join our team at People Plus.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified individual to deliver high-quality training in construction skills, working closely with learners to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Practical Construction Skills: Lead engaging sessions on plastering, painting, tiling, and dry lining, preparing learners for City & Guilds Level 2 assessments.
  • Adapt and Support Diverse Learners: Use adaptive training techniques to meet varied learning needs, ensuring each learner progresses confidently.
  • Incorporate Employability and Digital Skills: Embed employability and digital literacy within practical sessions to enhance learners' readiness for today's workforce.

Requirements:

  • Qualified in construction trades to at least Level 2, with a Level 2 in Maths and English.
  • Strong experience in delivering vocational training or instruction in a practical setting.

Benefits:

  • Full-time role with a competitive salary of £32,000 - £34,700 per annum.
  • Four days per week: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • One half-day per week: either 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM or 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
