Vocational Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Vocational Support Specialist. This role is based in South London and offers an exciting opportunity to support individuals with mental health needs to progress into employment, education, or training.
Key Responsibilities- To work closely with service users to identify vocational goals and provide tailored support to achieve these objectives.
- Assist individuals with financial matters such as grant funding and access to government grants.
- Support service users in disclosing their health needs to prospective employers and colleges, ensuring reasonable adjustments are implemented.
- Record all information accurately on vocational databases on a daily basis.
- Experience of working with individuals with mental health needs or other excluded populations within health, social care, education/training, or the voluntary sector.
- Good basic level of education with at least 5 GCSE grades A to C (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics, or relevant qualifications at NVQ level 3 or relevant industry experience.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be passionate about supporting individuals with mental health needs, and be committed to helping them progress into employment, education, or training.
BenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary range of £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure their success in this role.
