Job Title: Engaging Learners Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and caring individual to join our newly formed Engaging Learners Service in Stirling. As an Engaging Learners Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people who face barriers to attending school regularly.

About the Role:

This is a temporary contract until 27th June, with a 4-week notice period. You will be part of a wider support network in Stirling, working closely with colleagues from the Equity team, Virtual Head Team for Care Experienced Children and Young People, different schools, and other education services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children and young people who face barriers to attending school regularly
  • Work with families and their wider support network to promote holistic development
  • Contribute to the development of the Engaging Learners Service in Stirling
  • Participate in close partnership working with colleagues and external agencies

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a dynamic, flexible, and caring individual with a commitment to equity and removing barriers to allow children and young people to thrive. You will also need to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.
