Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Nuclear industry. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems for major projects. Your expertise in mechanical system design using Inventor and your ability to work to tight deadlines will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop design concepts using Inventor and create detailed engineering documentation.
  • Ensure designs conform to British and European Nuclear standards and meet client requirements.
  • Lead a small team of design engineers or work independently, as required.
  • Produce design justification reports that address technical risks and safety concerns.
  • Manage designs within the constraints of project schedules and budgets.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong leadership abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience in mechanical system design using Inventor.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage technical risks.
  • Knowledge of British and European Nuclear standards.
