This role requires a balance of technical expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (MEICA) and leadership skills to ensure efficient project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols, manage risks, and maintain a safety-first culture on-site.
  • Collaborate with engineers and clients to design and deliver MEICA systems, ensuring their integration within large-scale civil engineering projects.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or a related discipline (e.g., NVQ, HNC, or HND).
  • Extensive experience in construction site management, ideally with a background in wastewater treatment or similar infrastructure projects.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including understanding the implications of early warning notices and the financial aspects of construction.
