About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Team Leader to join our team at Companies House. As an Operational Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading our operational teams and ensuring excellent team performance, great delivery, and quality of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide great leadership, coaching, and support to team members.
  • Line manage a team and ensure excellent team performance.
  • Provide great customer service and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Focus on and deliver continuous improvement for the team and drive engagement to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Communicate well and build relationships to support people to achieve our vision and goals.
  • Ensure diversity, inclusion, and staff wellbeing are valued and supported.

Person Specification

We are looking for an Operational Team Leader who:

  • Is a great leader and can set a professional culture.
  • Can be a strong line manager and build strong and trusted relationships.
  • Delivers and improves operational performance and lives our values of being bold to share good ideas to improve the integrity of the register.
  • Confidently puts customers at the heart of everything they do and displays enthusiasm around delivering best-in-class service.
  • Is a great communicator and can convey messages clearly verbally and in writing.
  • Is well-organized and adaptable to deliver at pace and under pressure to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
