Job Title: School Business Manager

Are you a seasoned finance professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for education and a desire to make a real impact?

We are seeking a highly skilled School Business Manager to join our team at Dovetail and Slate Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial management of our schools and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial management and support to our schools, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with our senior leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies that support our educational mission.
  • Oversee the financial management of our schools, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements:
  • Qualified with a school business management qualification (CSBM) or similar diploma.
  • Experience in school finance is essential; previous experience as a School Business Manager is ideal.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
  • Ability to provide two references.
