Job Title: School Business Manager - Part-time

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated School Business Manager to join our vibrant school community at Wheatfield Primary School, a proud member of The Leaf Trust.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Management: Oversee the school's budget, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and provide regular financial reports to the Headteacher and Head of Business Operations.
  2. Procurement and Contract Management: Manage procurement processes, contracts, and building maintenance, ensuring the school's assets are well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
  3. Safeguarding and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safeguarding practices, GDPR, and Health and Safety policies, maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and staff.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications and Experience: NVQ Level 4 or equivalent relevant qualification with a financial focus, and substantial post-qualification experience in financial administrative work at a supervisory level.
  2. Skills and Knowledge: Proven track record in managing budgets, financial planning, and reporting, with knowledge of procurement, contract management, and building maintenance.
  3. Personal Qualities: Sound understanding of safeguarding practices, GDPR, and Health and Safety policies, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
