Key Responsibilities: The successful Payroll and HR Specialist will be responsible for several key tasks, including

* Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payroll with accuracy and timeliness
* Calculating statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP) and pension contributions
* Ensuring HMRC compliance for PAYE, NIC, and related payroll regulations
* Maintaining payroll records, resolving discrepancies, and addressing employee queries

In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will have over 4 years' experience running UK payroll operations and strong knowledge of UK employment legislation. A CIPD/CIPP qualification is desirable.
