Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, 1 hour lunch (35 hours)
Location: Solihull
Salary: up to £25,000 per annum
Benefits: 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and pension scheme
We are seeking an organised and ambitious candidate to join our team as a Paralegal. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress on to working towards their solicitor apprenticeship. Working in a small practice with lots of exposure and support, this is an excellent opportunity to progress in the legal field.
Duties:
- Front of house, meeting and greeting clients and providing refreshments.
- Ensuring all meeting rooms and communal areas are kept clean and tidy to a high standard.
- Answering and redirecting telephone calls.
- Daily administration jobs including arranging meetings, diary management and appointment making.
- Postal duties, preparing and sorting.
- Preparation and collation of documents including audio typing, administration and filing.
- Supporting all colleagues.
- Keeping all the firms and client's documentation and information confidential.
- Willing to take responsibility towards self-development and training when asked.
Requirements:
- Previous Paralegal experience.
- Excellent administration and secretarial skills.
- High degree of self-management and initiative.
- Strong IT skills.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong time management, with the ability to work to deadlines.
- The ability to work in a discreet and confidential manner.
- High standard of English, including spelling and grammar.
- Have a keen interest in law and business.
- Possess a polite, friendly, and professional demeanour.
