Job Description: Part-time Cleaning Specialist (Weekends)

We are currently recruiting for a Part-time Cleaning Specialist to join our dedicated team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. This is a great opportunity to work flexible weekend hours and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our Mental Health and Community hospital wards.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily cleaning routines as scheduled.
  • Perform terminal and enhanced cleans as per local procedures.
  • Handle and remove waste in line with segregation processes and procedures.
  • Unpack and stack all linen and laundry.
  • Regenerate cook/chill meals, recording temperatures as required.
  • Maintain clean kitchen equipment, regeneration equipment, and surfaces.
  • Set up dining areas, beverage/food trolleys as needed.
  • Ensure food supply to wards at correct times and discard waste immediately after service.
  • Clean dining areas after each meal.
