Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Welfare Support Specialist to join our team at Essential Employment. The successful candidate will provide critical incident debriefings, resolve welfare issues, and gather intelligence on wellbeing matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Mental Health First Aid Training to support the delivery of the Force Wellbeing Strategy.
- Build partnerships with managers to promote wellbeing initiatives and deliver training or briefings as required.
- Act as a point of contact for arranging local wellbeing and welfare events in liaison with the Force Wellbeing Lead.
- Provide a 24/7 on-call service to respond to critical incidents as part of a rota.
- Develop and deliver Engagement Action Plans with HR Business Partners to act as the lead for Engagement within the area.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A strong understanding of wellbeing and welfare issues is essential, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
